The Bucyrus City Schools data for the Summer EBT (also known as SUN Bucks) will be submitted directly from FinalForms to the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. This submission will include all students who attended Bucyrus City Schools and received Free or Reduced lunch at any point during the 2023-2024 school year, whether through an assistance program or a submitted application. You do not need to apply for these benefits.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you log into your student/students' FinalForms account at https://bucyrus-oh.finalforms.com/ and verify that your address (as well as your student's address) is correct BY MONDAY, JUNE 10th at NOON.
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has stated that they WILL NOT be re-issuing benefits. This means that if your student has a new address and your previous address remains the address of record in your FinalForms accounts, there will be no remedy and you likely will not receive this payment (we will not be able to change that).
If you already have an Ohio Directions card, the ONE TIME payment of $120 (for each eligible child) will be loaded directly to your card. If you do not have one, the benefits will be sent on a new card in the mail. They will arrive in a plain white envelope and be addressed to the child and each child will receive a separate envelope. Please do not panic if you don't receive benefits for all of your students on the same day, as that is not guaranteed. Payments will be sent by the beginning of July and will expire after 122 days.
Additionally, please do not call Bucyrus City Schools inquiring about the status or issue date of your payment. The state will not be providing us with that information this year. They have instructed families with any questions to call 1-866-244-0071, option 1.
