Bucyrus summer food service program expands for 2019

The Bucyrus City Schools, in partnership with the USDA, is sponsoring the Bucyrus Summer Food Service Program this summer. The program has expanded to include breakfast and a new lunch serving site at First Presbyterian Church, located at 125 S. Poplar Street in Bucyrus.

Bucyrus board approves new administrative staff

The Bucyrus City School District Board of Education made two important personnel decisions during a special meeting at the Lincoln Administrative Center Monday, June 3.

The board approved a three-year contract for Kimberly Radulovich as the new Bucyrus Secondary School Principal starting August 1. She joins the Redmen family after serving as High School Principal at Fredricktown since 2017.

Tough classwork nothing new for Bucyrus graduate

Sarah Lipscomb, a member of the Bucyrus High School Class of 2019, was no stranger to taking the toughest classes offered at BHS and jumped at the chance to enroll in the College Credit Plus program when presented with the opportunity.

Bucyrus staff honored during annual recognition dinner

The Bucyrus City School District hosted its annual staff recognition dinner in the Bucyrus High School Commons May 22. The district honored an array of staff members for their years of care and commitment to the children of the Bucyrus community.
