Please welcome Jessica Cooper as the new High School Chronic Absenteeism Coordinator! As part of the "Future Forward Ohio" initiative to help students recover from the learning loss of the COVID-19 pandemic, the state education department acknowledges that chronic absenteeism levels across the state have still not recovered. This school year, the state earmarked funds to be used to support district efforts to reduce chronic absenteeism for grades 9-12. Jessica will be meeting, collaborating, and making home visits with students and families in grades 9-12 to improve attendance while also aligning mentoring and other resources to support students who have continued absences. Go Redmen!!
