Bucyrus City Schools in partnership with Community Counseling and Wellness Centers, Welcomes Social Emotional Learning Awareness and Prevention Coordinator - Brooke Woodrum, QMHS
With the use of Secondary School Improvement Title funds, beginning this week Bucyrus City Schools will have a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Awareness and Prevention Coordinator at the Secondary School Building. We are pleased to welcome Brooke Woodrum from Community Counseling and Wellness Centers (Formerly Community Counseling Services) to this new role! Ms. Woodrum will serve as an additional resource beyond the guidance counselors and our student advocate already in place to support our students. She will be contacting families, meeting with students, and facilitating any counseling, medical referrals and/or recommendations from the school. Ms. Woodrum will also be coordinating Social Emotional Learning initiatives and providing new resources within the district for families and students at the Secondary Building. Go Redmen!
