Current job availability exists for Classified Substitute Bus Drivers:

Salary $15.95 / hour

High school diploma is required along with meeting all mandated health requirements and compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.

Applicant must meet qualifications as defined in current revised state codes, pupil transportation operation and safety rules, and school board policy.

Completion of the state pre-service school bus driver training program and training necessary as needed to maintain required license and endorsements is required.  Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus and passenger endorsements is required.  Must meet all prerequisite and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the district’s insurance carrier.  Must have physical ability to safely lift and manage preschoolers and students with disabilities, ability to cope with stressful traffic, weather conditions, and passenger distractions.  And must demonstrate maturity and the ability to work with students, staff, and families.

Salary $13.07 / hour

Educational Aide applicants need to have an Associate Degree or passed ParaPro Test results.

Salary $13.01 / hour  

Applicants must have current FBI and BCI background checks and valid Educational Aide Permit.  High school diploma is required along with meeting all mandated health requirements and compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.  Applicants are required to have cooking skills and will be responsible for cooking.  Applicants must also have the ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public, ability to prepare standardized recipes using commercial kitchen equipment, ability to comply with nutrition, health, and safety laws and regulations, and the ability to accurately measure, weigh, and adjust recipe ingredients.  

Hours/Days will vary M-F 6:30am-2:30pm upon need at each building.
