Bucyrus Academic Boosters

The Academic Booster Club sponsors the end-of-the-year academic awards banquet for grades 9-12, the academic awards program for grades 6-8 and awards several scholarships each year to seniors.

The group meets at the Secondary School each month from January to May to plan the banquet, with other meetings scheduled as needed. Anyone interested in volunteering or working with the organization can contact Amy Plumley at 419-562-0003 ext. 1115 for more information.

Current members of the Academic Boosters Club include: Amy Plumley, Traci Wetterau, Nancy Lipscomb, Tonya Kimmel and Terra Hamm.

Bucyrus Athletic Boosters

The Bucyrus Athletic Boosters meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Secondary School the first Monday of every month. The group organizes an annual craft show and operates and organizes the Redmen apparel store and concessions at home football and basketball games.

Those interested in volunteering can contact Brad Seibert (President), Mark Hemmerly (Vice President), Mary Scott (Secretary) or Steve Hoover (Treasurer).

Bucyrus Band Boosters

The Bucyrus Band Boosters meet at 6 p.m. in the Secondary School band room the second Monday of each month. The purpose of the group is to support the Bucyrus City Schools instrumental music programs through fundraising and volunteer efforts.

Parents of band members are all welcomed and encouraged to participate as active members of the Bucyrus Band Boosters organization. Major fundraisers include the annual Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival and Spring Flower Sale.
