Mr. Michael Wallace, Elementary School Principal:
Mr. Michael Wallace, Elementary School Principal, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for four years. He has a B.A. Of Visual Arts from The University of Mount Union and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from The University of Findlay. His primary responsibilities include guiding the vision for Bucyrus Elementary, which is aligned with district goals and expectations. This includes student and staff instructional support, PBIS implementation, and supervision for grades K - 5. Michael most enjoys working with the students because they make him laugh, work very hard, challenge his thinking at times, and he sees growth every day. He is a firm believer in the unlimited potential of students.

Mrs. Sarah Martin, Elementary School Associate Principal:
Mrs. Sarah Martin, Elementary School Associate Principal, has been with Bucyrus City Schools for thirteen years. She has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Ashland University, a M.A. in Teaching and Learning with 1-8 Elementary Certification from Ohio State University, and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Her primary responsibilities include managing attendance, behavior, and climate and culture. Sarah enjoys working with both the students and staff in a capacity that allows them to improve in the work of teaching and learning.

Mrs. Jessica Ault, PBIS Coordinator:
Mrs. Jessica Ault, Elementary PBIS Coordinator, is new to Bucyrus City Schools this year. She has a B.A. in elementary education and music and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University. She earned both a principal licensure and a gifted endorsement from the University of Cincinnati. Her primary responsibilities will be to oversee the PBIS program, now in year 2, at Bucyrus Elementary. She will be working very closely with the administrative team and the Tier 1 and Tier 2 committee members to celebrate all the great things our students are doing in schools and will continue to work on creating behavior interventions that help struggling B.E.S. students grow academically and emotionally. Jess is an eternal optimist and very excited about the chance to find ways to focus on the awesome things our kids do.
